First in our planning we decided on what cutaways we would film, we liked the idea of filming our friends on their mobile phones and showing through the documentary how dependent people are on mobile phones, and also as it links to one of the questions. Also linking to one of our questions, we filmed various archive footage of blackberry mobile phones as the person we interviewed told us her current phone is a blackberry. We also discussed what the mise-en-scene could be, we liked the idea of a desk, with a computer behind showing a website of a mobile phone website, and also having mobile phones apparent in the shot. Additionally, we wrote a script to answer the questions provided as we wanted clear answers that the audience would understand, as in editing we would be taking out the questions asked by me and Helen.
